Third Graders,
Think about what you have learned about condensation in class and in the video we watched today. Make a claim about what condensation is. Then, use evidence to support your claim. Finally, explain where you have seen condensation before!

I think condition is when ice turns into vapor and makes it soggy I know that because we learned that condensation is sortable like a wet feeling in the outside

I learned that when warm air meets a cold surface, condensation happens. The warm air and cold surface combined makes vapor turn back into water. That's why you see water on onto a cold can. I experimented this when I when I once when to a picnic and saw water on a cold glass bottle. We experimented as a class using a plastic cup and lid and put some water inside. Then we put the cups with water inside on the heater. We can't wait to see what happens!

I learned that condensation is when gas turns into liquid, hot air meets a cold surface it forms little water droplets. That's when you see CONDENSATION! I have seen it in the the summer just as the video said, hot air meets a cold surface,is when you will see condensation.

I have learned that condensation is, for exsample when your water bottle is wet out side of the water bottle it is vapor and starting to evaporate and starting to come back into a liquid. Another thing is condensation goes through the water cycle to make water keep coming. For exsample when you were in the bath you see it looks so foggy on the glass. So when you touch the glass or the mirror it turns back into a liquid witch the liquid was a gas.

Claim: I think the claim is that condensation and evaporation happens when the sun, and wind work together Evidence: the sun makes condensation and the wind makes evaporation so when there is a puddle on the ground the wind and sun work together to make evaporation and the glass of a cold drink meets the sun and the cold drink it makes little domes or water drops and that is condensation Also when I was taking a bath the curtains we're soaked and soggy wet!

I think that evaporation happens when the water goes up to the sky to form clouds and then when the water cycle is over... It rains and the cycle starts all over again and it does it again. I think that the sun is a major reason that the water evaporates. Many people think that it is just drying up and there is no scientific way that it actually dried up.

We did another experiment the other day, and there was this cup full of cold blue water. There was also fog on it. I wonder what happened. On what I know, condensation is when a cold thing meets a warm surface. Ms. Battaglia could possibly have put the cup on the heater. Then, probably, the fog appeared. We got to put our hands on it to feel it. Another 2 times when I experienced condensation is when after I took a bath, the bath door and the mirror were all foggy. The other time is when I was riding th car, and there was fog on the window.

Condensation is like when a glass of water is wet on the outside of the glass. This morning when I saw the mirror after bath there was fog, so, I went to the living room then when I came back into the bathroom the fog was gone. I think this happen because the fog turns into water then the water will evaporate then the mirror will turn back to normal.

I learned that Condensation happens when a gas turns into liquid. Condensation has a water cycle. Water vapor, condensation, water and, Evaporataoin. My claim is that when someone is done with there shower or bath some of the mirrors will get warm and foggy and that might be vapors making it foggy. My evidence is that today in my bathroom the mirrors got foggy after my mom took a bath. I have seen condensation in my bathroom on the mirrors and on a sunny day my bed sheets dry up and on a sunny day sometimes the windows on my car kind of get foggy. In our experiment we had different cups and they were all foggy and had lost some water. My reosen is that when condensation happens things dry and kind of get foggy.
