3rd Graders,
Look back at your 3-2-1 Bridge from the Beginning of the Unit. Then, complete your 3-2-1 Bridge for the End of Unit. This should reflect new understanding about water. Then, share with us one thing that you used to think about water and compare it to what you now think about water using your Bridges. Example: I used to only think about the water cycle when I thought about water. I now think that water involves more than the water cycle like surface tension, how it travels on a slope, evaporation, and more!

Think about what you have learned throughout our water unit in science. Reflect on the many ways water is so important to us. Please read the article, Saving the Great Lakes. As you read, consider what would happen without water. Then, watch the video, Freshwater Habitats. Think now about the importance of having a healthy freshwater system. Claim: Make a claim about the Great Lakes based on the article and video you watched. Evidence: Refer back to the article and the video to support your claim with PROOF!! Make sure to cite your thinking. Reasoning: How does this water problem affect us in Michigan? A resolution is a firm decision to do or not to do something. Traditionally in America, people set new resolutions at the beginning of a new year.
