After studying the structure of Crayfish and reading about them in our Science Books, think about everything you have learned about them. Consider their bodies, life cycle, and habitat.
What claim can you make about crayfish? What evidence do you have from the article or our learning in class to support that? How do crayfish compare to other animals that you know of? After answering these questions, comment on 2 people's thinking from our class. You may ask a question, agree or disagree respectfully, or add a connection.

My claim/what I know a bout crayfish is that They have 2 pincers,8 legs, and a shell to name a few. That is what makes the crayfish also a crustaceans. They have their skeleton on their back and they have a shell.I know this according to our class experiment with our crayfish,we stufied that they are crestaceans.we saw the 8 legs that help them walk and we felt thier hard shell.Puks,we tried to avoid the pincers too. Also,in the article it said that the crayfish belong to the crestacean family.

Claim- What I learned about crayfish that if you touch their stomach they will pinch you. I also learned that if another crayfish is fighting with another crayfish that crayfish can pinthch you. Usually male crayfish fight. I learned that other crayfish react to people and more crayfish.

I argree with you because there was crayfish in our class and because they put their pinchers up when they are scared and i want to add on to you, they also put their pinchers up because some crayfish follows what people are doing like for an example some one puts their hands up and the crayfish puts his/her pinchers up.

My claim is that Crayfish live with a certain life cycle. They have a organizied way of living the Crayfish way. Humans should try to keep Crayfish on existance so that scientists can keep studying the wonderful creatures. When a Crayfish hatches it stays with its mother for 1 or 2 weeks. In 2 weeks its about 1 cm long. The Crayfish goes and lives on its own and it will live for 3 to 8 years. Young Crayfish grow very fast. As they grow they get new exoskeletons and it hides till its strong enough. A 3 or 4 month old Crayfish it lives at the bottom of ponds or lakes. Sometimes oceans. If threatened they will put there pinchers up to attack. They can go backwards to get away. Sometimes they don't swim, they walk on the bottom of the lake, ocean or pond. The female Crayfish gives birth to hundreds of Crayfish at one time. The life cycle starts over and over again. The mother Crayfish has a egg chute and the male is easy to tell apart from the female because the male is way bigger and the female is smaller. Crayfish care for there young. The scientists keep studying Crayfish.

I learned that the crayfish stays with it's mother only for one or two weeks, and that time it is frightend and scared so it sticks with it's mother.I saw that many crafish were fighting and I think they were fighting because they are maybe not there friend and they are there enemie. My evidence is that I read the article called"The life cycle of crayfish".
