The river rouge is a very cool busy place I learned that Henry ford changed the world I noticed that they built cars old and new! Also there is a car that was called type a and v-8 was less expensive and type a has less hourse power isn't that weird? My opinion is that maybe Henry ford could make v-8 more expensive than type a it's silly why they do that. I'm wondering how the war against the union and ford started why and how. I want to learn more about Henrys history and fords.

I learned when they put moon roofs on the car they do not put the front window in before they put the moon roof if the car has a moon roof because I saw a mechene put the moon roof in the car by puting the moon roof inside the spot where the front window will go an than the mechine goes up and snaps the moon roof on top of the car.I also learned that it takes a lot of effort to build a car.

I learned a lot of things about the River Rouge Factory. First the essembly line, the essembly line kept moviving and the workers kept putting the parts of the car in.The old cars looked different from theese cars that we have now. But what I still wonder is that What made them invent the essembly line? What made Henrey Ford make theese cars?

Fantastic post, Vaishali! I love how you began your comment with a summary of the trip. In the movie I learned that Henry really wanted to make a company that made their own materials and could run without having anyone import materials. I think that's what made him create such a great assembly line.

At the River Rouge the fantastic factory made by Henry Ford I learned that the cars first need to be designed then need to be made into a computer then make into a model. The next step is to check for TRIAL AND ERROR. I also learned that Henry Fords first automobile was the Model T. I also learned that Henry Ford made a big accomplishment bringing cars to the world. Henry Ford made the assembly line come to work after Ransom E Olds. I also learned the Bill Ford redesigned the Rouge. During the time of December 1941 when Pearl Harbor was bombed Henry Ford designed battle planes and battleships. Then there was a war between Union and Ford then the Union lost the battle but won the war. The war was in the time of the Great Depression. Then Henry Ford thought of a way not only people do the work. There is a plant on the roof of the new Rouge. Henry Ford did a important job in the world

This is one of my favorite days in my life! :) Here is what I learned: I learned that Henry ford was an inventer. I also learned that he builded the ford after himself. I also learned that the "old" time (in the 19's) did not have assembly line. I also learned that The model T was the first carthag Henry made. Ford also really likes to recycle. They put plants on the roof! I still have a question for the ford company.( please get this question answered. How did ford want to make cars? Thank you.

On the field trip, I learned how to make cars. I used to think that you made cars by hand. Now, I know that you use machines. I also learned that there is a plant that grows on the roof that protected all the airplanes. And, I also learned a lot from the movie. The place was so cool! I really liked the second movie. Ford also recycls a lot. I also learned about the war. And the color that sells is white. There are lot's of stations and cars. They really like to care about animals!

I learned about the assembly line and the way it works. I also learned about Henry Ford and the F150's future. On the assembly line I learned that each person has one job for themselves. At the observation deck I saw all the cars being test driven. There is more than one step to making the perfect car; and that is exactly what Henry Ford achieved many, many years ago.
